iCalendar Help

iCalendar, often referred to simply as iCal, is a standard internet calendar format that enables users to create and share electronic calendars across different computers and different programs.

As the format continues to grow in popularity, many companies have chosen to use the iCalendar standard. Apple's iCal, a personal calendar application that runs on the Mac OS X operating system, is one of many programs that currently use this format. Others include Google Calendar, Mozilla Sunbird and Microsoft Outlook.

ForeTees has added support for attaching iCalendar files to all new tee time notifications. By clicking on the iCalendarÊattachmentÊin your email you will be able to load the tee time information directly in to a wide array of programs and devices such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple's iCal program or Google Calendar.

You can adjust your email preferences by clicking on the Settings tab in ForeTees. From the Settings page you will be able to select if you want to have iCal attachments included with each of your email addresses.

BlackBerry Users: If your tee time notifications from ForeTees appear to have an empty message body, you will need to disable iCal attachments to that email address.
