Welcome to another edition of On the Tee with ForeTees! What a wonderful and blessed time of the year this is. We are really excited about the many improvements and additions to our industry-leading software over the past year and look forward to introducing even more features in 2012. Here is what's new!
New Caddie Software Is A Hit Across the Country
Many ForeTees clients around the country are beginning to experience the new online Caddie Management System and the reviews are outstanding. Besides its many benefits to the golf staff and caddies (and their parents), it also comes as a no charge add-on to the tee time and notification systems.
We recently hosted seminars in Minneapolis and Chicago for approximately forty different golf facilities. The golf professionals, caddie masters, and board members in attendance were very impressed by this new product. We are confident that this new software will not only make existing caddie programs stronger, but may encourage some clubs to start up a caddie program in the future. ForeTees Dining Is Here!!!
The new ForeTees Dining Software is ready for release in January 2012. After extensive testing at clubs in Minnesota and North Carolina, as well as a recent presentation to the Minnesota Chapter of the CMAA, it is performing extremely well.
We know that your members will enjoy the same convenience with our dining system that they enjoy with tee times - 24/7 access, easy event registration, instant dining reservations, and more. The staff will welcome the reduction in phone calls, extensive reporting, more details on member dining preferences, etc. You can also trust ForeTees to give your members a very user-friendly product that will be used because of your members' trust in our products.

New ForeTees Look for Your Members Coming Soon
Our development team has been working on a new "skin" for the member side of our reservation systems. This will give the site a more modern and pleasant look and feel, and allows us to take advantage of some new technologies. While the appearance will change, the general page layouts and navigation remain the same, providing a very smooth transition for your members. Each of our reservation systems - ForeTees, FlxRez, and Dining - will share the same skin, making for a fully integrated and familiar suite of reservation systems. We are confident that your members will enjoy the new look of ForeTees.
The new look can be previewed at the upcoming PGA Show and CMAA Expo. Also, you will be able to select the date when you want us to switch your site over to the new skin. Contact our Pro Support for more information.

Check Out Our New Features
Over the years, ForeTees has been providing our clients with new and innovative additions to our software. The "New Features" icon can be found at the top of the announcement page and tee time sheets on the proshop portal. By simply clicking on this button you can learn all about the upgrades that ForeTees has added to its tee time software. We thank our many customers who have provided us with many of the ideas for these new features.
One of our newest features makes it possible to create Event Categories, allowing you to easily categorize your events and filter the list of events on the Event Sign Up page. Now, members and Pro Shop users can more easily find an event because they can be filtered down to a particular type, or category (i.e. Men's, Ladies, Couples, etc). The Configure Event Categories page can be found under System Config > Event Setup in the menus. Once categories have been added they will be selectable when adding or editing an event and will show up as filter options on the Event Sign Up page. This should be a welcomed feature, especially at clubs that post a lot of events. (Note: you may have to refresh your browser the first time you use this feature.)
ForeTees to Host Third Annual User Conference
at the 2012 PGA Show
Back by popular demand, the 3rd Annual User Conference at the PGA Show this January. ProSupport expert, Ben Haubach, will host a 90-minute session on what's new with the industry-leading ForeTees software. In addition, Ben will answer your questions concerning how to best put the many, many features of ForeTees to use at your club. Here are the details for this year's conference:
