New Feature Updates
Demo Club Tracking
As always, the employees at ForeTees are busy making improvements to our industry-leading product. Many of the ideas for these new features came from you, our customers. We want to thank you for that and hope that you find many of them useful at your facility.

As promised, we have added some reports to the Demo Club Tracking Feature.  Now, your staff can track the history of usage by each member who checks out demo clubs.   This can be extremely helpful when a member comes back to try a club for a second time, but can't remember all the details of loft, shaft flex, model, etc.   Now, staff members can look back and identify the exact club that was being demoed.

The same is true for the staff when they want to identify the demos that are used most or those that are used least.  This can aid in future decisions when it comes to ordering demo clubs for the next season.

Handicap Reports
Our home office staff has recently made several improvements to the handicap reports on the pro shop side.  These improvements should help make the reports more user-friendly and less time consuming to utilize.

First, when viewing the Missed Postings by Member (Summary View only) the member names in the table are now clickable and will jump directly to the Handicap Peer Review Report for that particular member.  This opens up in a new window and should greatly speed up the review process.

Second, the Handicap Peer Review Report now includes helpful new information at the bottom of the table.  An "Unmatched Score Postings" section will display the remaining posted scores, so the user can see if the missed postings were simply a wrong day posting error.

Third, there is another section titled, "Rounds Played vs. Scores Posted" (for the last twenty rounds).  This section will break down the 9-hole rounds and 18-hole rounds on the left side of the report and the right side contains the number of posted scores that were found.

We hope you find these changes helpful as you utilize these reports.

Member Rounds Played Report
There is now a new custom date range option for the Member Rounds Report.  In addition to the existing This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year options, the staff can now access this report for any date range they desire.   This will provide a more detailed report when necessary.

Guest Rounds by Member Report
Our staff has now made it possible to run more detailed reports for guest play, as well.  In the Guest Rounds by Member Reports, counts can be broken down by each Guest Type based on what guest types have been defined by the staff.  For example, the staff may want to see how many guests a certain member brings during the week versus during the weekend.  Again, this might be valuable information for your golf committee or board.

If An Employee Leaves - Change Your Password
If an employee leaves your golf staff, it is always a good idea to change your ForeTees password.  Making sure that access to your club's site is secure, especially from the pro shop side, is very important.  We have had one report where an employee was terminated, then gained access to the club's ForeTees site and made some unauthorized changes to the system.

Some Interesting Statistics
As all of you know, ForeTees is much more than just tee times.  We recently ran a report on our almost 400 clubs to find out what features are used most often.   We thought you might find the results interesting.  Here is what we found:

  • Event Sign-up = Used by 92% of clubs

  • Mobile Interface = Used by 77% of clubs

  • Demo Club Tracking = Used by 55% of clubs

  • Lesson Book = Used by 43% of clubs

  • Lottery Feature = Used by 25% of clubs

Coming Soon
As all of you know, we are constantly working to improve our ForeTees product on a daily basis.  Many ideas for improvements have come from our staff as well as from our existing clients.  In keeping with these efforts here are some new introductions coming soon:

  • A new Online Editor giving you more options to dress up your announcement page.

  • An iPad interface that will enable the staff to do many of the current functions that they can now do on their computers.   Currently, the iPad can be used effectively by your members or staff through the existing Mobile Interface.

  • New dining software that will allow your membership to conveniently make online dining reservations and signup for club events on user-friendly software similar to our outstanding tee time product.  This new ForeTees product will make it possible for the club dining staff to take member reservations 24/7 (without the phones ringing), it will provide up-to-the-minute information throughout the clubhouse for all staff members, and will provide extensive and comprehensive reporting for the board and food & beverage committees.

These new additions to our online services will be introduced later this year.  Watch for our emails and mailings.
