New Product Features For March 2009 ForeTees is proud to announce the addition of several great new features. These features will be available on Monday, March 9, 2009. For more information regarding these features, be sure to click on the New Features link on the ForeTees navigation panel when logged into the system. As promised earlier, we are releasing a couple of great revenue saving and revenue generating features; a Dining Request System, and a Demo Club Tracking System. We hope you find these to be beneficial to your club. Dining Request System This optional feature provides a method for members to notify the F & B staff when they would like to dine at the club. The system can be configured to provide customized messages and prompts, indicate who should receive email notifications of the dining requests, and when the members or golf shop staff is to be prompted. The intent of this feature is help generate additional business for your dining facilities. An example of how this might work: 1) A member books a tee time. 2) ForeTees confirms the tee time request and prompts the member, using a customized prompt, asking if he/she would like to dine before or after their round. 3) If the member elects to do so, he/she is taken to a customized form where they can indicate the date & time, number in party, dining room, special instructions, etc. 4) ForeTees sends the information in an email to all pre-determined recipients (F & B staff). 5) F & B staff can then reply to the email and confirm the reservation. Demo Club Tracking System Some of you previewed this system at the PGA Show. We appreciate the feedback you provided - we have been busy enhancing the system based on your suggestions. Overall, this feature was very well received and we are excited to release it. This optional feature allows the golf shop staff to track their demo clubs - who has checked them out and how long they have been out. Once the inventory is entered into the system, your staff can check them out and back in with just a few clicks of the mouse. You can see in an instant who currently has a specific club. Reports will provide status and history of all demo clubs. We hope this feature will allow you to reduce the number of lost demo clubs. Rounds Comparison Report This new report will allow you to compare the rounds played in one year against the rounds played in another year. The report breaks the rounds down by year, month, member, and guest. It then provides a comparison in counts and percentages. Look for this new report under the 'Reports' tab. Member Flags You can now specify a tee sheet flag for individual members. The flag can be 1 to 4 characters and is added to the member record by editing the member in Admin. If a flag is defined for a member, it will be displayed next to that member's name whenever it appears on the Golf Shop's tee sheet (i.e. John Doe SOC). Like the membership flag, this flag DOES NOT appear on the member tee sheet. Club Prophet Systems POS Interface A new POS interface has been added to support the latest version (V3) of Pro-ShopKeeper, now Club Prophet Systems.
