Welcome to another edition of On the Tee with ForeTees!
Summer has passed and we are into a beautiful time of the year in the upper midwest.
However, we know what is coming just around the corner - Old Man Winter - so we hope there are still some good golfing days left in the next month or two.
Our fellow professionals in the South are getting prepared for their busy season and we hope ForeTees will make your lives much easier. Below is an update on all the latest news at ForeTees.

ForeTees Releases Its Newest Product - The Caddie Management Software
The buzz is in the air as clubs start to use the new Caddie Management Software that makes everyone's life much easier - the caddie master, the caddies,
the parents (who drive their children to the course), and the members benefit as well. So, as you can see it's a win-win all the way around. And what's the best part of all of this? It comes as a no charge add-on
to the tee time and notification systems!
Now, your caddie master (or golf staff) will be able to stay in close touch with every caddie
working at your facility. This user-friendly product will enable the caddie master to assign caddies (often a day or two in advance) and then notify the loopers via text or email. As a result, caddies can stay in touch with the
club 24/7. No longer will the caddies have to arrive at the crack of dawn and sit around for several hours waiting for their loop. Plus, the caddie master will know up to two weeks in advance which days each and every caddie
is available. We are confident that this new software will not only make existing caddie programs stronger, but may encourage some clubs to start up a caddie program in the future.

ForeTees Dining - It's almost here!
The new ForeTees Dining Software will be ready for release by the end of the year. Our in-house testing is now complete and it has been installed at a club near our company headquarters for beta testing.
We know that your members will enjoy the same convenience with our dining system that they enjoy with tee times - 24/7 access, easy event registration, instant dining reservations, and more.
The staff will welcome the reduction in phone calls, extensive reporting, more details on member dining preferences, etc. You can also trust ForeTees to give your members a very user-friendly product that will be used because of your members'
trust in our product.

New ForeTees Features Just Released
Recurring Lesson Bookings - When booking a lesson it is now possible to specify that it be booked as a recurring lesson. Simply check the box indicating it is a recurring lesson. Then, select an end date and whether it is to be every week, or every other week.
When submitted, the lesson will be booked for the same time each week through the end date. The confirmation page will alert you if any dates could not be booked due to scheduling conflicts. When booking Recurring Lessons, it is highly recommended that the new Lesson Set (see details below)
be used to bundle them together. This will make it easy to view and edit the lesson bookings and will allow all the lessons to be canceled at once, should the need arise.
Lesson Sets - Lesson Sets allow lesson bookings to be bundled together making it easy to view and edit them, as well as cancel them, if necessary. As an organizational tool they can make lessons much easier to manage, especially when a member has a standing
lesson each week or has signed up for a series. A lesson can be added to a Lesson Set by selecting the desired set, or by creating a new one when booking the lesson. Once created, a Pro's Lesson Sets can be viewed by selecting "My Lesson Sets" from the control panel
while viewing their lesson book. For assistance in using this new feature contact prosupport@foretees.com.
FlxRez Summary View Changes - The highly anticipated Summary View for viewing time sheets in FlxRez is now available for members as well as proshop users.
The summary view displays all court times for a given day in an easy to use grid making it convenient to find open times and view existing reservations. Plus, it is now possible to select the length of a reservation when using the summary view.
Simply select the desired start time and a prompt will be displayed with the available time options from which you can select. If you would like to use this view for your members or the proshop staff, please contact support@foretees.com for assistance.
Email Distribution Lists - These lists were originally limited to a maximum of 100 members per list. Now, the number of members that can be included in a distribution lists is unlimited. This change will simplify the process of maintaining and managing email lists,
and save time when broadcasting a message to a large group of members.
ForeTees to Host Third Annual User Conference
ForeTees will again be hosting a seminar for our current customers at the PGA Show in 2012. This user-conference will help ensure that your staff is
effectively using our ForeTees product. This is an excellent chance to learn more about our newest features and to clarify any questions you may have about our tee time system.
ForeTees Statistics and Interesting Observations
As ForeTees continues to grow (over 400 clubs nationwide), the numbers that our system generates are quite impressive. As of the end of August 2011, more than 41 million logins
have been made by club members using ForeTees. Also, in the month of June alone, ForeTees eliminated more than 1/2 million phone calls coming into our clients' golf shops. This number is determined by the number of members at our
clubs that made or modified their tee times online in June. Finally, more than 12,000 club members have now logged into our smart phone interface making ForeTees a real snap to use.
Why has ForeTees been so successful? Because our product is the most user-friendly system in the tee time reservation market. Members LOVE and USE ForeTees.

Having been a part of the development of our new Caddie Management Software I can tell you it is one outstanding product.
